Moving Day (R) Atlanta

Steve's Team of Terrapins

As many of you know, my Dad, Steve Byron was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 7 years ago. If you know my Dad, you know that he is the most selfless person, always putting his family and friends first. I am beyond blessed to have him in my life and can't thank him enough for the love, care, generosity and many laughs he has provided me and my family. I would absolutely love it, if you would join us and help support my Dad in his fight against Parkinson's. I have no doubt Parkinson won’t stop him from living his life to the fullest, but I ask for your help in raising awareness and showing my Dad your support.

Steve's Team of Terrapins (after his alma mater University of Maryland) are going to walk in the Moving Day Atlanta event on November 1st. Participation, donations and prayers are all needed and much appreciated.  Your participation in this important event would mean a lot to me and my family.

Date: November 1st
Time: 9:00am registration; 10:45am walk begins
Location: Centennial Olympic Park

If you plan to participate in the actual walk, please email me at sbyron89@gmail.com. I will be getting T-shirts created for all those walking on November 1st.

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD. The National Parkinson Foundation Moving Day® walk, is the first nationwide campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community.

Join our team, Steve's Team of Terrapins, and walk with us to support my Dad and the National Parkinson Foundation.
