August 27th - Save the Date!
The National Parkinson Foundation and PD
Gladiators are teaming up to present a FREE event you will not want to miss on
Saturday, August 27th, from 8AM to 11AM at Heritage Sandy Springs. In
"Living Well with Parkinson's: Exercise," medical and research
experts will explain why exercise is so important for people with PD and how to
design a safe, fun and effective routine. Instructors in the PD Gladiators
Metro Atlanta Fitness Network will then demonstrate, with the assistance
of our experts, how their classes help combat Parkinson's disease. Seating is

Moving Day® is the National Parkinson Foundation’s
annual fundraising walk event. It is a fun and inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends and communities both large and small in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This celebration of movement will feature a family friendly walk course, a
kids area, a caregivers relaxation tent and a special Movement Pavilion featuring yoga, dance, Tai Chi, Pilates, etc. all proven to help manage the symptoms of PD.
It will be 'A day to move, a day to move others, a day that moves YOU!'
