Arvin was an amazing father, husband, colleague and friend. His sharp mind was always working and he thought through every challenge in intimate detail. From building the straw bail house to programming thermostats to utilize inexpesive electricity, Arvin always had a plan when he approached a problem. Unfortunately, detailed thinking and planning were no match when Parkinson's took hold of his body. His amazingly positive attitude and appreciation for life and family serves as a model to us all. Complications from Parkinson's took Arvin from us at too young of an age.
Thank you to those that have reached out with support. Some have asked about sending flowers. Those that knew Arvin know that he would have said, "flowers will just die" -- he was always so practical! In lieu of flowers, those wishing to show support for the family during this challenging time can support the National Parkinson's Foundation to help other individuals and families liviing with this disease.
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) is focused on what people with Parkinson’s need today. Your support allows them to help people live their best lives now until there is a tomorrow without Parkinson’s.
