Tamara's Parkinson's Moving Day Page
I am participating in Moving Day® Boca Raton, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation South Florida Chapter, on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Florida Atlantic University Stadium.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
I currently work as in-home physical therapist with 75% of my caseload being Parkinson's patients or patients with other related movement disorders. While these diseases may be progressive in nature, my colleagues and I work diligently to keep our patients mobile as long as possible. For some, that means rolling side to side, and for others that means dancing a jig, but for all, it means HOPE. For my uncle, my cousin, my sister-in-law, my mom's best friend, and all my patients, I will be moving and walking for YOU on November 10th!
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
