Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello family & friends!
As you all know, I was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease in 2015. Since then, I have been activitely involved in the Parkinson’s community to help myself and to raise awareness about this disease.
Parkinson’s is a neurological movement disorder and so movement activities are a critical part of my life and are shown to help slow the progression of this disease, which has no cure and affects millions of people worldwide. In fact, did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? It’s a tough disease and no one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
That brings us to Moving Day®, just one of many support communities and resources available to us as PWPs (People With Parkinsons). So, this year, I am participating in Moving Day® Boca Raton, FL, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation South Florida Chapter, on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Florida Atlantic University Stadium.
I, and the millions of us suffering from Parkinson’s, will greatly appreciate your supporting our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live his/her best possible life now. Through your support and efforts to raise awareness, we are able to fund important research and other activities to help find the cause and a cure for PD.
I thank you for helping me raise awareness and helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
Love to all and Keep on Moving!!
