Moving Day 4 Team Marilyn Kirschen
I am participating in Moving Day® Miami, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation, on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Maurice A. Ferre Park (formerly Museum Park).
This walk will be in memory of my partner and soulmate Marilyn Kirschen. Marilyn was diagnosed in 2011 at the age of 45. For seven years she battled courageously until her passing on August 5th 2017 due to complilcations of the disease. She faced this adversity with strength, humor and positivity. She would always say "I have Parkinson's, it does not have me" Marilyn always had an optimistic view of life that no matter what happens, everything will turn out ok. One of the many reasons why I fell in love with her. She was and always will be my hero- my Wonder Woman, as she was (is) an inspiration to everyone who met her.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I ENCOURAGE you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
