Welcome to Jim's Personal Page
On behalf of the 25,000+/- Persons with Parkinsons in North Carolina I am inviting you to Moving Day NC triangle Day. Ovid 19 (AKA "the Germ" according to my 6 year old Grandson) has changed how we deliver Moving Day.
Thiis year's event will be a virtual event. It will feature demonstrations of various exercise regimens -- (you are encouraged to participate in these) recognition of outstanding Persons with Parkinsons’, Caregivers, Service providers and medical professionals. Learn about the latest in research, as well as creative methods for coping with the disease. Also, expect some entertainment as a local media veteran will guide us as we virtually do our Movement Day Walk. The entire event will be pre-recorded and initially broadcast at noon on Saturday, November 7.
Last year Moving Day NC Triangle activities raised more than $260,000 an all-time record.. Our Rock Steady NC Triangle team raised $64000, the highest total for any single team in the country. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
