I am participating in Moving Day® San Francisco, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation, on Sunday, May 7th, 2017. I am walking to make a contribution for all those living with Parkinson's disease, both in my local community and globally.
The event, taking place at Justin Herman Plaza, will be a fun and inspiring event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities such as yoga, dance (yay!), Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate movement, the strength of the Parkinson's community, and people with PD.
Please consider being a part of my team, the Dopamine Warriors, or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved. If you'd like to walk with us, please let me know and I will forward you details about where and how to meet at the event.
If you’d like to sponsor me instead, you can do that on the Dopamine Warriors team page. Any amount helps.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation and thank you for your support that comes in all other wonderful ways. It all makes a difference.
With love and kindness,
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the National Parkinson Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
