As most of you know, our dad has battled Parkinson's Disease for several years now. This Sunday, Annie and I, along with our kids, will be participating in Moving Day to help raise money and awareness for this disease that has become a daily battle for our father/grandfather. Activity is one of the main components in helping to control the symptoms that people with PD struggle with every day.
The event, taking place at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco, will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives. Thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
