Welcome to My Moving Day Walk Story
As I have over the past 7 years, I am participating in Moving Day San Francisco, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation. this year due to COVID-19 the walk is a Virtual Event. It will be somewhat disappointing to not participate as a group and walk along the water in San Francisco, but I am committed to participating and making it a meaningful event again to honor my Dad.
The Virtual Walk is scheduled for May 9th, but I am going to mix it up a little bit and actually do the walk on Dad's Birthday, April 26th. I would have been participating with The Parkinson's Foundation as an onsite coach that day for a team of runners who were going to do the Big Sur marthon to raise money, but, alas, that was postponed as well. So, I will honor Dad with a walk, likely including the pups, somewhere in the Bay area TBD.
Please consider being a part of my story and either join me on a walk that day or consider sponsoring me. Any size donation will help to provide funds for continued research to cure this nasty disease or help provide support to patients and their caregivers.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
