Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear Family and Friends,
Last June, I participated in Moving Day Baton Rouge, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation. We enjoyed a variety of movement activities such as yoga, dance, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching to celebrate the importance of movement in our lives. Thanks to all of you around the country, I was the top individual fund-raiser for the event, raising over $2,500. The event was so successful that we are holding it again. This year, the at the event, we will honor Carol Harrison, a founding member of the Movers & Shakers of Baton Rouge, a Parkinson’s Disease support group. Both the support group and Carol are dear to my heart. To honor Carol, we are encouraging family and friends to support her in hopes that she will be recognized as a top fundraiser for the event. Please consider sponsoring either Carol Harrison or me. The money all goes to the Parkinson’s Foundation
Join Team Movers and Shakers of Baton Rouge honoring Carol, and if you can attend the event even better. We had great fun last year and are looking forward to another great year.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
