Welcome to Kelsey's Page
I am participating in Moving Day® Atlanta, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Piedmont Park in honor of my Dad, Paul.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Did you know that exercise is a vital component to maintaining balance, mobility, and activities of daily living for Parkinson's disease (PD) patients? People with PD who start exercising earlier and for a minimum of 2.5 hours a week experience a slowed decline in quality of life compared to those who start later.
I want to raise money so that community exercise and movement programs will continue to be developed and organized in Atlanta. I need your help to make my walk impactful and to help my Dad and the nearly 1 million Americans that are living with Parkinson's Disease today.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
