Team Big Dog

Hey everyone! So every year I have had a team for Moving Day Atlanta and raised money for the walk. This year however, there are a few differences. I am actually the Mission Chair in charge of helping plan and run Moving Day in the Triangle! I have been working super hard with some other really amazing dedicated people to make it a special event.

For those of you who don't know my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's when I was a senior in High School. About 4 years later I became involved with NPF Moving Day as a way to make myself feel like I was supporting him while I was living a few states away. Now it has become super close to my heart!

If you are in the Raleigh/Durm/CH area please join my team and join us on November 2. You can ask the Atlanta teammates, its a super fun and we like to get brunch after annddd you get to wear a shirt with my dad's face on it.

If you are not in the area — please donate!! Even $3 will help :) Since I have started raising money and becoming involved with NPF the past 5 years,  I feel like awareness around Parkinson's has grown a lot and I'd like to think it has a little to do with Team Big Dog.

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join our team for the local Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help us continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.

To become a member of our team please select the ‘Join The Team’ button at the top or bottom of the page.

To donate or visit a team members personal page please select from the ‘Team Members’ list at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for supporting us and the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
