"Keep on truckin'" with Mike on Oct 6!
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's at 47 in 1997 and today at 69 years old am still getting around...a lot slower...but still giving it my all. I credit the exercise classes I attend at Shirley Ryan Fitness Center which keep me moving and my unwillingness to let PD get the best of me.
I decided to participate in Moving Day® Chicago on Sunday, October 6, 2019 because it benefits the Parkinson's Foundation Chicago, which encourages research and keeping us PD folks moving. So come join me and Eileen at Soldier Field, South Tailgating Lot on Oct. 6, 2019. Whether you want to walk, run or just come by for family fun we'd love to have you join us.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
