Welcome to My Personal Page
I am participating in Moving Day® Chicago, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation Chicago, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Soldier Field, South Tailgating Lot not only to help raise awareness for Parkinson's, but also to celebrate and honor my stepmom, Judy.
Judy was disagnosed with Parkinson's over 12 years ago. In those years, lots of things have changed...some perhaps how one would image and others in ways I would never have imaginged. While Judy battles Parkinson's daily, her diagnosis is not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of her. I instead think about my daughter's grandma who always has time to spend with Magen, readily makes trips to see volleyball games (even in Springfield), comes and sits on hard and uncomfortable chairs for music concerts, takes shopping trips and makes time to help Magen learn to sew. While Parkinson's makes these activities more difficult, Judy never uses it as an excuse and always participates in life to her fullest ability.
Judy is strong, never gives up, readily tries new things in battling Parkinson's and loves those around her. These are the things I think about when I think about Judy and it's what you should think of too.
Please consider joining Judy's Groupies not only so you can support the the Parkinson's Foundation but so you can join us in celebrating Judy...who she is, what she does and who she helps each of us to be.
If you aren't able to join us, please consider supporting the cause financially and in prayer.
You are a blessing in our lives and we appreciate you!
