Welcome to Justeen Sherwood's Personal Page
Dennis and I are participating in Moving Day® Charleston, SC, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation, on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at James Island County Park. We are walking to honor our good friend, Jay Phillips, who may have contracted PD through exposure to Agent Orange during his two tours in Viet Nam. Jay is a combat-decorated soldier who was awarded two Purple Hearts. Jay appeared before congress to help create the Purple Heart U.S. postage stamp to honor our wounded patriots. Both Jay, and his wife, Marilyn, give countless hours to their local foundation as well as the National Parkinson's Foundation to ensure community and health for those in need. Thank you for helping us once again reach our fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation. Why Move for Moving Day? Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s. Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.View More
