Mr. Max Weinberg
Dear Friends and Family,
For my Mitzvah project, I have decided to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease. Parkinson's (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's.
This disease is very personal to me because my grandfather, Edward Clement, was diagnosed in 2004. Finding a cure is important to me because "Peepa" is my only living grandfather and I want to help him in as many ways that I can. He is also the bravest and strongest person I know and I love spending time with him. I have seen a lot of changes in him in the past few years, especially in moving and walking.
This is why on November 4th I've chosen to participate in "Moving Day," a joint effort of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) and the Parkinson Foundation of The National Capital Area (PFNCA) The event is a 2.5 mile Walkathon around Washington Nationals Stadium, where I will be walking with my beloved 'Peepa" and family.
Thank you so much for your support,
