In Memory of Marion L. Warren
Linda A Mosher
Do you know someone with Parkinson's? Do you want to make a difference?
Join us as we show our unity and fight back against this terrible disease on Sept. 7th. 2013 for our second Moving Day Buffalo, a Walk for Parkinson's.
The event will take start and finish at Coca Cola Field and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities at the Movement Pavilion including dance, chair exercises, Tai Chi, stretching and much more as we celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of the Movin'Moshers or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
My goal is to find at least 100 people who will donate $10.00 so that we can assist those who are facing this disease. No one should have to face Parkinson's alone.
We are walking for those who are bravely fighting Parkinsons every day. Our team is honoring the memorny of Althea Mosher ( my Mother) and her bravery in fighting Parkinson's for over 20 years. I am also walking for our Uncles, Melvin & James Mosher, and our Grandmother Helen Gillmeister. We are also walking to benefit the WNY Parkinson's Community. It touches my heart when I see all the love at our Valentines Dinner Dance, the joy at the annual picnic and the support that flows so freely every time our community gathers. Moving is powerful, and when we move together we can make a differnce for those living with Parkinsons.
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $164 million in care, research and support services
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation and the Western New York Chapter.
