Dear Family and Friends,
Here we go again! Its been a year since I got out there collecting donations for Parkinson's Disease and again I am pounding the pavement for sponsors.
I am once again participating in Moving Day Boca Raton, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation South Palm Beach County Chapter on November 16th, 2014.
As you all know my hubby, Gregg, has been battling Parkinson's Disease and each and every day has been a challenge for him. As a result, we have become active in the National Parkinson's Foundation and are working diligently towards helping to raise awareness and funds in an effort to find a cure or at least find methods to control this devastating illness.
I ask you from the bottom of my heart to support our team, Gregg's Gang, by joining us as we walk or sponsoring me as I walk for my courageous husband. We walk to honor Gregg and all of the men and woman who are stricken each year with this progressive and debilitating disease.
Together we can do all that we can by supporting our Moving Day Team, Gregg's Gang, on November 16th. I ask you to give of yourselves and also to enlist everyone you know to participate and/or donate to this extremely worthy cause.
The event will take place on the FAU Campus and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $180 million in care, research and support services.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
I Promise It Will Make You Feel Good!!!
With heartfelt thanks, Cindy
