I am participating in the Moving Day Orange County, CA Walk, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation Orange County California Chapter on October 12th, 2013.
The event will take place at William R. Mason Park and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. The focus is on a variety of movement activities: yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, stretching and much more. The point is to celebrate the importance of movement in our lives - something those with Parkinson's can't always count on.
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care for Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $172 million in care, research and support services.
Please consider making a donation. You can do so with credit card or check as explained on the "Donate to Bob" link to the right. If you wish to use a check you can mail it to me and I will forward it. If you send it directly to the National Parkinson Foundation, please note my name on the check.
You are welcome and encouraged to stop by the event. Hope to see you there! Details are shown on the "Moving Day Orange County" link above.
Thank you for your consideration.
