The Gray Family
Dear Family, Friends and Co-Workers. As many of you know, my father has been fighting Parkinson's for almost 20 years. This year has been especially challenging for Dad with several big changes in his life - change is much more difficult for those with Parkinson's. My mom and our family continue to encourage Dad to walk, STRETCH, exercise his brain, and most of all to STAY ACTIVE. Inspired by the Foley Fit Fiddles, I got Fitbits for my parents to motivate them to keep moving!
That said, on Oct. 12th my family is once again participating in the Moving Day walk to benefit the National Parkinson Foundation. Capt. Keno's Movers & Shakers will be looking sharp in our Coast Guard hats (in honor of Dad's military career) and our Foley jerseys.
If you are interested in supporting a worthy cause, please consider sponsoring me or our team. No donation is too small and any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support! And remember, stay active and keep moving!
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $172 million in care, research and support services.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation
