1996 was the first year we participated in the walk for Parkinson's disease- and we have volunteered and participated every year since! We continue to be involved because.....

1. Harold Kissell (dad and grandpa) was a really great man and he loved the walk- so we continue to walk for him!!

2. We want to support those that are now on the road of living with PD.

3. It's a really fun morning (even when it rains!)

4. It's a great event for our family (14 of us plus friends help every year).

5. Year after year we connect with people that we only see at the walk.

6. We get a new T-shirt :)

7. The walk committee members are amazing and we just can't stay away!

8. It's a good excuse to get moving.

9. The Parkinson's community is a fun, dedicated, welcoming, and committed group!!

10. We raise money to continue the work of NPFMinnesota.
