Bust A Move to Beat Parkinson's -- Moving Day, May 3rd

Over the last few months I have become involved with the local chapter of the National Parkinson's Foundation (NPF) as a volunteer on the planning committee for Moving Day. Moving Day is our biggest fundraiser annually, raising over $240k last year to support local services for people and families living with Parkinson's Disease.   Please join me in person or in spirit (by making a donation) at Moving Day -- A Walk for Parkinson's, on May 3, 2014, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation of Minnesota.

The event will take place at Hilde Performance Center and Park (Plymouth, MN) and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities -- walking, dance, Pilates and biking to celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.

Why Get Involved

The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $172 million in care, research and support services.

THANK YOU for helping me reach my fundraising goal and supporting the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
