Saturday, May 4 is Moving Day Twin Cities!
I am excited to be involved in my 19th walk for Parkinson's disease. Since that first year (of my involvement), we have steadily had an increase in walkers and the money raised. Last year, our first Moving Day, was a great success and we have great hopes for 2013!!
There will be 20 Moving Day events throughout the United States this year and all funds raised will be used to support those with PD.
Last year, National Parkinson Foundation MINNESOTA (NPFM) provided $200,000 to provide education, respite care grants, support and public awareness for those with PD, their families and health providers.
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States who are living with Parkinson's disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson's disease. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $164 million in care, research and support services.
If you are able to support me in my effort to add to the funds we raise on May 4 I would appreciate it.
Thanks so much!!
