Dear Facebook friends and family,
On the actual date of the Moving Day Kansas City walk, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation Heartland, Jules and I will be with our families in California for our big event. We hope you will consider a donation to this cause in our honor, even though we won't physically be in KC to participate. It is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. We are also honoring my brother, David, and dear friend, Jan Parkinson, who live with the challenges of Parkinson's disease.
The Moving Day Walk will take place at the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. A short walk route is available for all fitness levels.
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease.
Thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation Heartland. Much love to all!
