For my Bar Mitzvah Project I will be raising money for the National Parkinson's Foundation. I have a team for Moving Day Atlanta with a fundraising goal of $1000. I am participating in the Moving Day Atlanta walk, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation on Saturday, November 1st, 2014! Please check out my page, donate and feel free to join my team - TEAM POP IVERS!
This Bar Mitzvah Project fundraiser means the world to me. I found out about a year ago that my Poppy has a disease called Parkinson's Disease. I did some research to understand what that meant and found out that right now there is no cure. Well I want to help find a cure for my Poppy and for other people who also have this disease so that is why I made it my Bar Mitzvah project and my mission to raise money! Please support me in helping find a cure for this terrible disease that affects my Poppy and so many others!
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $180 million in care, research and support services.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
