I have registered to participate in The National Parkinson Foundation Moving Day Chicago Walk event. I am walking in memory of my father. The Moving Day Walk helps to raise awareness and critical funds to improve the quality of care for people with Parkinson’s disease through research, education, and outreach. Parkinson disease is a chronic and progressive disease with symptoms ranging from tremors, stiffness, rigidity, and pain to speech and swallowing, memory loss and depression.
The walk takes place on October 19, 2014, but my journey starts today-- the journey toward my fundraising goal! Please support me in this important goal by visiting my fundraising page and make a small contribution. It is very easy and quick; and your donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you can give will help — it all adds up!
