Barth and I are participating in the Rochester, NY Moving Day Walk, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation Greater Rochester on Sept. 16, 2012.
The event will take place at Monroe Community College Campus and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please join Team Christian to help raise funds that will support the NPF?s 3 fold mission, to provide much needed services to individuals with PD, educate the community and research to find a cure.
Barth and I have been involved in a PD support group that meets once a month and have found it extremely helpful. We have met some wonderful people who are in various stages of the disease and are will to share. We are very grateful.
