Dick and Maryann Dieter
We are participating in Moving Day, a National Parkinson's Foundation fundraising event held on Sunday, September 29th. My family has formed a team called "Papa's Posse" in honor of our loving father, David Curl, who deals with the everyday challenges of living with this disease.
The event will take place at the Columbus Crew Stadium and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, stretching and much more to celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Our goal as a family is $500.00, but we hope to well exceed that!! Please consider being a part of our team or sponsoring me in honor of our incredible father!!
Why Get Involved
The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) continues to bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the United States, four to six million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s disease. NPF is the only organization with a singular focus on improving the quality of care in Parkinson’s disease. NPF programs reach more than one million people a year through its network of 39 chapters, 43 Centers of Excellence and 900 support groups. Since 1982, NPF has funded more than $172 million in care, research and support services.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
