behalf of the Moving Day® Committee, Thank you all for your support in creating
a truly special Moving Day Columbus on September 28th. As we
were planning this event at the beginning of the year, we knew Ohioans would
come together to help raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
In 2013, you helped us reach $90,000, exceeding our goal of $75,000. This
year, we set a goal of $115,000 confident that we would achieve that
number. Because of all of your support reaching out to friends and
family, you helped us exceed our second stretch goal of $140,000! We are
still putting in the donations from the event, and it looks as if we will be
over $160,000! Not only did we exceed the financial goal, we exceeded our
attendance goal, with over 900 people joining us to show “People Who Move
Change The World®”***

Day To Move, A Day to Move Others, A Day to Move You®
Day® Columbus put those words to action on September 28th when over
900 friends, families and co-workers came together to support the Parkinson’s
Community. From the Movement activities and the walk around the stadium
we had a truly special day raising awareness and financial support for the
programs and services offered by the NPF and the Central & Southeast Ohio
Chapter. Donations for Moving Day 2014 will be accepted through October
31st, so there is still plenty of time to get in those last minute
donations to reach the next level for the incentive prizes (to see the prize
levels, click the “Incentives Prizes” box under Helpful Info). We will be
posting photos and updates on our Facebook
Page. If you have photos you would like to share as well, feel free
to post them on Facebook or send them to the office: firstname.lastname@example.org
