I am participating in Moving Day® Cleveland, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation Ohio, on Saturday, June 17th, 2017.
The event, taking place at the Wade Oval at University Circle, will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
As you all know both my brother, Bill and my father both have Parkinson Disease. It has changed their lives forever as well as our entire families. They do not go though an hour without thinking about their disease. It has changed every aspect of their worlds, as well as that of their caregivers. Today is always your best day with Parkinson. Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative disease that touches every part of your life. It is a very difficult disease to live with. My brother and father have done an extraordinary job of staying positive and continuing to fine joy in life. They truely inspire me. I want to make it easier for them and other with this disease by helping with raise funding and showing my support.
Please consider joining my team in spirit. I know you cannot come to walk in Cleveland but to know you are out there in support means a lot to me and my family.
Thank you for all you do for me, them, and to help find a cure for this disease. As one we are weak, but as a whole we can overcome any obstical. We can do this. We can beat this disease with everyones help.
