Harry's Hikers

Welcome to our Moving Day® Team Page!

Our dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1999. He lived many good and full years before the disease deteriorated his quality of life. Dad passed away June 14th, just 10 short months ago. He was one tough German man, who never complained and always had an ear to ear grin on his face, no matter what! He had strength of character that has impressed us kids all of our lives.  We miss him dearly, but it is a blessing that he is no longer suffering like he did those last months.

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson's disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join our team for the local National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) Moving Day® walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help NPF continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson's disease.
