National Parkinson Foundation: Keep on Moving!
Moving Day® Kansas City

Team CBIZ KC

CBIZ is a sponsor of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) Heartland’s Moving Day® Walk on Saturday, June 10th at the Liberty Memorial.  In the U.S., 50,000 – 60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people currently living with PD.   NPF Heartland is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people touched by PD through a community approach to delivering programs, education and outreach.

Please help us support NPF Heartland in its mission.  There are many different ways you can contribute and you can benefit too!

  • Join our Moving Day® Walk Team – Help us raise money for NPF Heartland by joining our team!  Simply go to our team page and click the Join Team button.  No personal financial commitment is required.  The Moving Day® Participant Center makes it easy to share our team page or your personal page with friends and family through email and/or social media.  Raise $100 and earn a stylish Moving Day® t-shirt and the incentives go up from there!

  • Donate to our Moving Day® Walk Team – Support our team by making a contribution.  Go to our team page, click on a team member’s name in the Team Roster, and click the Donate button.  Any donations that CBIZ employees make to our team will qualify you to participate in our June charity jeans day and raffle.

  • Join Us at the Moving Day® Walk – Whether you joined a team, made a donation, or just want to show support in the fight against Parkinson's disease, bring your family and friends to the Moving Day® Walk on Saturday, June 10th at the Liberty Memorial.  It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will enjoy a variety of movement activities, such as yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more.  The Walk begins at 9:30 am.

  • Volunteer at the Moving Day® Walk – If you have a little extra time on June 10th, consider volunteering at the Moving Day® Walk.  We need help with setup and tear down, collecting registrations, and more.  If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Phil Zaman.
