In honor of Dianne Gerard, we wanted all of her family and friends to be aware of and able to support in her journey of fighting Parkinson’s disease. Everyone who knows Dianne is well aware of her very kind and gentle heart, her ability to always help others and her strong, determined nature, so, this is one way we can show support and motivate her in any upcoming challenges she may face.
On a personal note, I met Dianne in January 2014 and in the three years that I have known her she has made such a huge impact on my life in so many ways and has always been such a HUGE support and that shoulder to cry on in times of need. So… this is one way that I felt that I could give back to her and help her in finding answers and making connections with those who can continue to provide answers and tips on overcoming Parkinson’s.
We would love to have all of you join Dianne’s Finest Gems! team and see all of you at the Moving Day Walk in Chicago on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Lincoln Park. Once every participant raises at least $100, the participant will receive a Moving Day t-shirt! Team pullovers and/or zip-ups are also available to purchase on the following link!
If it is not possible to join in on the walk, any kind of donations are very much appreciated in order to continue in the research on Parkinson’s Disease! Below you can find more information concerning Parkinson’s Disease and the Moving Day Walk! Hope to see you all there! Thank you in advance in for supporting Dianne!
In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.
Join our team for the local National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) Moving Day® walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community.
