What is your perception of strong
Is strong winning the race?
Is strong being the best?
Is strong lifting the most?
OR is strong getting knocked down by a cheap shot, getting back up AND deciding to fight back for more than yourself, but to fight back for every single other person effected by the same adversity.
My Uncle Scott is STRONG. In 2014 he was unexpectedly diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. As he says modestly "After the denial passed, I realized that I could either give up or get active. I picked to get active." He wasn't just active fighting Parkinson's for himself but he has taken the initiative to gather a group to help him fight for EVERYBODY effected by Parkinson's Disease.
Scott Payne is our "Pops", and we are forever his "Peeps" - together we are "Pops' Peeps"!! This is our third year participating in Moving Day Tampa Bay with the National Parkinson Foundation, and we're hoping for even bigger and better things this year - last year, we knocked it out of the park ending up as THE top fundraising team in Florida.
I NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP IT THAT WAY, not for me, not for our team, but for every single person staying active and fighting to kick Parkinson's ass.
Moving Day® Tampa Bay is Saturday, April 1st. It benefits the National Parkinson Foundation
Please support me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the National Parkinson Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
