Sometimes what seems like a curse can also be a blessing. Since my YOPD diagnosis in July of 2015, I have met some truly wonderful people that I wouldn't have known otherwise. I also have gained a deeper appreciation for those who were already a part of my life; two of them are pictured here. In spite of all PD takes away, it still manages to give something back. I can't say I'm glad to have it, but at least there are silver linings!
I am participating in Moving Day® Tampa Bay, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation, on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, at the University of South Florida.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
