I am participating in Moving Day® Tampa Bay again this year, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation, on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, at the University of South Florida.
As you may or may not know my partner and best friend of 18 years was diagnoised with Parkinson three years ago. For the most part the effects of Parkinson's are under control with medication and we take each day one at a time. We both look forward to the day when a cure is discovered and an alarm clock and pills are no longer part of our day. Until then we have to keep moving. Help me help Jeffery and others in our area by donating to the National Parkinson Foundation so they can continue their research and their community of support.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
