My name is Miles Anderson, and my wife, Erica Sharp Anderson was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2004. She fought PD with great dignity and courage until her death on October 28, 2016. You can read more about Erica's life here:
Our support group is thoughtfully honoring Erica and her late fellow support group member, Lawrence Wong at this year's Moving Day in San Francisco. I am using this opportunity to help raise funds to support research that will lead to remediation and eventually a cure of the disease that took their lives.
Please accept my heartfelt thanks for any donation that you are able to make. I fully realize that there are many worthwhile causes that deserve funding, and appreciate very much your contribution to this one.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the National Parkinson Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
