| 04/13/2024 | I am starting out on a new running journey for myself given my medical history and see this as a means to support my mother and others with Parkinson's and also consider the promotion of cardio vascular health and its impact on prevention of other medical conditions. I would like to sign up for the Disney Princess Half Marathon as every year I visit my parents while they are vacationing in Florida. This will be an opportunity for her to be a part of the race day. I am open to running other races in the 2025 year; however, I want to start with the Disney Princess Half. I am also interested in the HOKA Chicago Half as a possible other race for the 2025 year as my parents live in Chicago and they would be able to participate in race day excitement. |

I'd love to be able to share this journey with him as he runs for his dad (my grandfather) everyday as well. If I know I'd get accepted, and know he could get accepted (guaranteeing he can make the fundraising requirements) I'd love to be able to surprise him with a spot on the team. I'm happy to discuss the logistics of this more if this is even possible. |
