“I could see all the effort that was put in to the planning of this event.  It was very much appreciated, and did not go un-noticed.  It was a great feeling to do something in Memory of my Mother.”

“Great to see so much support for the Foundation and interest in Parkinson's Disease. The walk was beautiful, and it was encouraging to see so many folks at so many stages in the disease, all willing to be there and lend support in one way or another.”

“I was overwhelmed by the families and friends that walked and raised funds and provided support for those with Parkinson’s. I was even more amazed that those with the disease were more focused on helping others than they were with themselves.”

“My grandmother always wanted a cure for Parkinson's and we finally got to help raise money to help with her wish.”

“[My most memorable moment was] the look on my mom's face while we were walking and the number of people who were walking!  I was highly impressed with the number of people and everyone supporting each other.”

“I enjoyed the banner for all the walkers to sign (helped make it a very personal experience). The opening ceremonies were great, and the walking route was very easy to follow.”

“I was delighted with the route—a part of the city I did not know and am pleased to have seen… you were so well organized.  This was top notch event and it made an impression on the people we recruited and us!”

“[The most memorable moment] for myself, and my mother as well, was definitely meeting some very wonderful and  amazing people who share the same goal as us, raising awareness, education, and funds to improve the treatment for those suffering from Parkinson's.”

“It was amazing seeing that many friends and family come together to support my brother-in-law. And to see all the other teams there as well! I look forward to participating again next year.”

“It was good to see the camaraderie amongst the Parkinson's people. I think it was also a day of unity.”

“It was great walking with my family and doing it with thousands of others.  It was terrific to see how many people showed up.”

“Walking with my family to support my father was very special to all of us.  Seeing other families there supporting their family members was moving.”

“[My most memorable moment was] meeting my team mates, most of them for the first time, and the camaraderie that resulted from our desire to make a difference for family and friends.”

“I went out to support my friend, she was Capitan of our team.  However I left with a much better understanding of Parkinson’s.  I am glad I went!”
