About Moving Day ®

The National Parkinson Foundation’s Moving Day® is the National Parkinson Foundation Orange County California Chapter’s annual fundraising walk event. Last year Moving Day® Orange County raised $57,000 to help people with Parkinson's! It was an incredible day and we were thrilled to see the swell of support from the community as we welcomed more than 750 people to Mason Park in Irvine. The committee is already hard at work to make this October's event even better!

Moving Day® raises awareness of Parkinson’s both nationally and in the Orange County community. Proceeds raised from the campaign go to support local services for people
living with the disease and research leading to better treatments. It is so much more than a fundraising walk, it is a celebration of movement with a special Movement Pavilion featuring opportunities for you to try activities such as yoga, dance, Tai Chi, and much more.

About the Chapter

The National Parkinson Foundation Orange County, CA, Chapter’s primary purpose is to serve the community of Orange County and beyond through education, awareness, care, and support. This goal is accomplished through local support groups, exercise and singing classes, and an annual education symposium. Our second goal is to provide resources through fundraising endeavors that will contribute to the research effort to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
