About Moving Day
Moving Day® is the National Parkinson Foundation Hawaii's inaugural annual fundraising walk event and will be held on Saturday, November 16th at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park. Join us to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and funds to support the National Parkinson Foundation Hawaii Chapter. The event features an easy 3K walk, and a special Movement Pavilion featuring ongoing activities and therapy for Parkinson’s patients to enjoy throughout the event. Moving Day Hawaii starts at 9 am and the walk starts at 10. The Movement Pavilion activities for Parkinson’s patients will be happening from 9:30 – 11:30.
It is 'A day to move, a day to move others, a day that moves YOU!'
The Moving Day Event will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made on the event day at the event site. The event will not be canceled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will be made on site.
